Finalstar walked out of her lichen drapped den and lept up on to a Willow branch close to the ground. 'Let those old enough to catch their own prey and fight in battle come for a Clan Meeting.' She yowled. |

Cherryleaf padded up and sat under the willow branch, waiting for the meeting to begin.

Reedriver looked up from his prey he was eating and picked it up and walked closer to hear what was going on.

Finalstar watched as the cats slowly piled into the Clearing. 'Tonight I will announce the our Deputy.' She yowled so that everyone could hear here. |

As the moon began to reach the center of the night Sky Finalstar watched the cats looking anxiously. 'Our new deputy will be..' She yowled for everyone to hear. She looked up to the sky and whispered to herself, 'I hope you, our ancestors SpiritClan accept my choice.' She murmured. 'Cherryleaf!' She yowled finishing her first sentence. |

The sentance caught Cherryleaf off guard and she gave a little bounce,half in disbelief and half in surprise. "Me??" She asked.

Iceflame walked out of her den surprised.Cherryleaf.I thought it was going to be reedriver.Congratulations Cherryleaf.She smiled.She went to Finalstar and whispered into her ear.I need to talk to you in my den.She walked back to her den.She sat down in her den.

Finalstar nodded acknowledging that it was Cherryleaf. She waved her tail two times signaling that the Meeting was over. Then she leapt down off the tree branch and walked to Iceflame's den. |

Cherryleaf was still shocked but very happy that she was deputy! She then realized she felt like fishing!! So Cherryleaf padded out of camp and down to the river. There so caught 2 plump fish and brought them back to camp.
