Icyshadow padded all about her den, preparing, always preparing. What she was preparing for? Well that was a question left with no answer.
She sensed she was near the herbs and decided to check the stocks. Due to being blind, everything in the den had to be perfectly organized to make things easier. Icyshadow gently stuck her paw out and due to the fact she was an experienced medicine cat and had memorized the places of all herbs, she knew the berries she was rolling towards her were juniper berries. She was very careful about things and sniffed the berries to ensure they were juniper berries. Using her paws, Icyshadow counted how many.

Also due to being blind Icyshadow had to know everyone's voice by heart, but after some time and practice she could identify everyone. "Yes, Hopepaw." She replied kindly.

She looked down and still couldn't see. "Do you think my sight will come back?" She asked very scared of what she was going to be told. She wanted to be a warrior and follow in her mother's foot prints.

Icyshadow turned to the apprentice. She didn't know quite what to say. She didn't know if she could sooth an apprentice with the same problems she had suffered. Dreamed of being a warrior, becoming so close, and having it all taken away; Becomeing blind. "I believe it'll be back soon and you'll be fine." She lied. Then she added quietly, "And even if you don't make it out with eyesight you'll always have a place in this clan."

Icyshadow didn't know what to think. She wasn't completely lying. She had her hopes up that the apprentice would be okay.

Icyshadow felt around with her paw until she had the leafy herb in her grasps. (lol)
"hmm... that herb is Marigold." She replied.

"Not really. I think its interesting that these can save cats lives." Hopepaw said. She would be a medicine cat but she couldn't untell she knew if Summerstreak liked her the way she liked him.
